Galaloop is a marketplace for pre-loved formal and wedding wear in Pakistan. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your sign-in details: mobile number, email address, or the name and email Google shares when you use “Continue with Google”.
- What you add: your display name, city and shop bio; your listings and their photos; messages and photos you send in chat; offers, likes, follows, saved searches, reviews and reports.
- For ID verification, if you choose it: your CNIC number. It is never shown to other users.
- Basic technical data needed to run the site, such as how many times a listing is viewed.
How we use it
- To run your account, show your listings, and deliver messages and notifications.
- To keep the marketplace safe: we hide phone numbers, emails and links in chat until both people agree, and we review reports.
- To verify sellers who ask for the ID-verified badge.
We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party advertising.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to run Galaloop: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (photo storage), Hetzner (web hosting) and Google (if you sign in with Google). They process data only to provide their service to us.
What other users see
Your display name, city, shop bio, listings, reviews and follower count are public. Your phone number and email are not, unless you choose to share your number with someone after an accepted offer.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your listings and profile details at any time. To delete your account and data, email us from the address or number you signed up with and we will do it within 30 days, except where we must keep records to deal with fraud or a legal request.
